About the Role
Emirates Global Aluminium is hiring a Senior Supervisor for Occupational Health to plan, advise, and manage occupational hygiene standards across the facility. The role involves exposure assessments, PPE selection, training, and inspections.

Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and execute qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments for workplace, tasks and job positions
- Provide feedback to areas with high risks on risk assessment reports and technical support to define action plans
- Analyse exposure assessment results and update sampling schedule considering engineering controls or environmental changes
- Provide technical support for selecting and approving PPEs related to health risk
- Create and maintain a system for occupational hygiene equipment to ensure correct functioning, maintenance and calibration
- Plan, schedule and execute health and hygiene inspections of welfare facilities and plant
- Define and manage occupational hygiene training needs, prepare training packages and conduct training sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
- Professional qualification in occupational hygiene (preferred)
- 3 5 years of experience in occupational hygiene, preferably in aluminium smelter or heavy manufacturing
- Thorough knowledge of sampling and analytical methods and instrumentation
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English
- Ability to work under stress and fast emergency response

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering & NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Preferably with a professional qualification in occupational hygiene.
- 3 5 years of experience in occupational hygiene, preferably in aluminium smelter or heavy manufacturing.
- Thorough knowledge of sampling and analytical methods and instrumentation.
- Calculation of exposure levels and statistics.
- Analytical skills, open to work in shifts when needed.
- Databases management.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Customer focused & problem solving skills.
- Well planning and organising skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work under stress, load & fast emergency response.
