Key Accountabilities
- Develop, review, and coordinate planning, scheduling, and monitoring of logistics activities.
- Proactively plan and schedule optimized logistics scenarios balancing quality and cost effectiveness.
- Monitor precise execution of export logistics with external suppliers and internal functions.
- Coordinate action plans (PDCAs) to rectify discrepancies and deliver logistics outcomes.
- Assist with developing and implementing logistics commercial strategies and building vendor relationships.
- Accountable for developing logistics plans in collaboration with Logistics Operations, Planning, and Sales teams.
- Support longer term annual planning including logistics budget preparation and data analysis.
- Support mid term quarterly planning and short term monthly/weekly planning.
- Coordinate logistics risks and constraints across multiple planning time horizons.
- Assist line manager on project development, follow up, and implementation.
Scope
- Planning and scheduling activities estimated to take 60 70% of total function time.
- Other key Logistics Commercial activities and ad hoc duties estimated to take 30 40% of total function time.
