- A leading contracting company in Dubai is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly organized Senior Store Keeper to manage and control all storekeeping and warehouse operations for major construction projects.
- The ideal candidate must possess strong experience in construction materials handling, inventory management, store operations, and coordination with procurement and project teams within the UAE construction industry.
- 🔹 Key Requirements:
- 8–15 years of experience in storekeeping and warehouse management within contracting/construction companies in the UAE/Dubai
- Strong experience in handling construction materials, tools, equipment, and site consumables
- Good knowledge of inventory control systems, material tracking, and store documentation procedures
- Experience in high-rise, residential, commercial, and large-scale construction projects
- Ability to manage store operations across multiple project sites
- Strong organizational, reporting, and coordination skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory software, and material management systems
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain accurate inventory records
- 🔹 Main Responsibilities:
- Manage daily store and warehouse operations efficiently and professionally
- Monitor receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, and tracking of materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation of all store transactions
- Coordinate with procurement, project, and site teams regarding material requests and deliveries
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, slow-moving items, and material requirements
- Ensure proper storage conditions and material preservation procedures
- Conduct regular inventory checks, stock reconciliation, and material audits
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and housekeeping requirements within the stores
- Supervise storekeepers, helpers, and warehouse staff when required
- Prepare periodic inventory and materials reports for management review
