Role Overview
Manage the clinical aspects of the outpatient clinic, including patient care coordination and safe patient flow.
Work with the Patient Relations Supervisor and Director of the Satellite Clinic.
General Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide age-specific patient-centered care using the nursing process.
- Perform patient and family physical and psychological needs assessments.
- Coordinate, plan, prioritize, and revise care based on individual needs.
- Document relevant data in medical records according to hospital standards.
- Maintain supplies, equipment, a safe environment, and current nursing competencies.
- Administer controlled and semi-controlled drugs safely and complete required documentation.
- Participate in staff meetings, unit committees, education, quality improvement, and unit goal development.
Satellite Clinic Responsibilities
- Support staff nurses and care assistants in planning, implementing, and evaluating direct patient care.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and effective communication regarding follow-up care and instructions.
- Supervise and advise nursing staff and Patient Relations Executive staff regarding patient inquiries.
- Maintain clinic KPIs, quality checklists, environmental audits, stock levels, and corrective action plans.
- Coordinate patient tests, insurance approvals, operations scheduling, discounts, and patient updates.
- Ensure timely closure of safety items, root cause analysis, and reporting of clinical KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minimum three-year full-time course duration, or a qualifying two-year nursing degree with Registered Nurse registration from an accepted jurisdiction.
- Valid license or registration to practice in the home country or country of last employment, where applicable.
- Valid Basic Life Support certification or another certification appropriate to the scope of practice.
- Three to five years of recent post-graduate nursing experience.
- Previous Team Leader or Senior Registered Nurse experience is advantageous.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is essential.

- Ability to provide care based on age, appropriateness, and developmental needs.
- Skills in assessing patients’ and families’ physical and psychological needs.
- Skills in coordinating, planning, and prioritizing care based on individual needs.
