Role overview
The Arab Monetary Fund is recruiting a Senior Specialist, Technical Assistance in the Capacity Development and Innovation Department.
The role reports to the Division Chief, Technical Assistance.
The position coordinates and delivers technical assistance and peer-to-peer activities in central banking and financial sector development.
Key accountabilities
- Conduct research and support the development and implementation of technical assistance programs and initiatives.
- Identify improvements to section policies, procedures, and controls to support compliance and cost-effective delivery.
- Enhance the section's administrative record management system in accordance with organizational policies.
- Prepare project proposals by coordinating internal experts, external experts, and international or regional partners.
- Organize and lead technical assistance missions, manage project components, and coordinate team contributions.
- Secure quality assurance reviews and produce comprehensive technical assistance reports.
- Track country follow-up, recommendations, indicators, and data for project monitoring and impact evaluation.
- Assess recommendation effectiveness and identify mitigation measures or additional support.
- Organize and participate in policy workshops and events and support negotiation and refinement of policy proposals.
