Role Description
The Senior Retail Salesperson is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
The role drives retail sales of banking products and services and recommends suitable Islamic banking solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
- Meet sales targets, conduct product presentations, handle inquiries, and provide high-quality customer service at the branch.
- Build customer relationships, follow up on leads, and contribute to cross-selling across the retail portfolio.
- Follow ADIB compliance, risk, and Sharia standards while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Work closely with branch and product teams.
Qualifications
- Retail sales experience with a record of meeting or exceeding targets in a financial or comparable retail environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, plus knowledge of retail banking offerings.
- Experience in relationship management, lead generation, and cross-selling in a customer-centric sales role.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi in a fast-paced branch environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Relevant academic background in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with digital banking tools and basic office software; English fluency is required.
- Arabic language skills and professional banking or sales certifications are advantageous.
- Understanding of Islamic banking concepts and regulatory requirements, or willingness to develop this expertise.
