Bancatakaful Portfolio Manager

Role Purpose

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the Bancatakaful product portfolio end to end and monitor performance against penetration, persistency, claims ratio, and revenue-per-branch targets.
• Manage and monitor Takaful Provider agent sales teams and the activities of portfolio and ADIB MIS team members.
• Support portfolio budget and forecast inputs, including variance commentary for management reviews.
• Manage Takaful Provider and operational partner performance, escalating breaches and driving corrective action through governance forums.
• Build a portfolio performance dashboard with leading and lagging indicators to identify emerging risks.
• Perform product and process gap assessments and support implementation of corrective improvements.
• Prepare business review decks and management reporting for senior leadership.
• Manage the department's RCSA, KRIs, and BCM activities.
• Handle internal, external, and regulatory audits, including evidence collection, responses, and closure of findings.
• Manage department training plans, including scheduling, completion tracking, records, and skill-gap identification.
• Support new product launches and product reviews through documentation, testing, and stakeholder coordination.

Specialist Skills and Technical Knowledge

• Detailed understanding of Takaful and insurance products.
• Teamwork and project management skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for management reporting and business review decks.
• Experience with RCSA frameworks, audit processes, and BCM/BCP methodology.
• Problem-solving skills for product and process gap analysis.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Time management skills and ability to work under pressure across multiple parallel deliverables.
