The role leads commercial management and contract administration for large-scale infrastructure projects in the Northern Emirates.
Position details
- Location: Sharjah, UAE.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Department: Commercial / Quantity Surveying.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare cost-value reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, and monthly profitability reports.
- Manage interim payment applications, value contract variations, and assist with extension-of-time and prolongation claims.
- Lead subcontractor procurement from tendering and contract drafting through final account settlements.
- Perform quantity take-offs using CESMM and verify bills of quantities.
- Administer FIDIC-based contracts to mitigate commercial risk.
- Guide and support junior quantity surveyors and site-based commercial teams.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.
- MRICS qualification is a strong plus.
- 8 to 12 years of core quantity surveying experience, including at least 4 years at senior level.
- Proven experience on large-scale UAE or GCC infrastructure projects involving roads, earthworks, bridges, or utilities.
Key skills
- Deep knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software such as CostX or Candy/CCS.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong negotiation skills.
