Role Overview
Direct and elevate HSE strategy across all operating business units within the Holding Group.
Report to the Group CEO and Board and establish Group-wide safety governance.
Drive a zero-harm culture across civil, heavy infrastructure, and major building construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce Group-wide HSE policies, risk frameworks, and ISO standards across subsidiaries and joint ventures.
- Oversee high-risk HSE operations involving deep excavations, lifting, high-rise, facade, steel erection, and MEP works.
- Provide risk reporting, performance audits, and strategic HSE counsel to the Board and C-suite.
- Lead behavioral safety initiatives and ensure compliance with local authorities and international standards.
- Establish emergency response protocols, lead major incident investigations, and track safety KPIs through corporate dashboards.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- 15 or more years of progressive HSE leadership experience, including at least five years at corporate or Group level.
- Experience with Tier-1 main contractors or large construction conglomerates.
- Expertise in both complex building construction and large civil or infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Safety, or a related field.
- NEBOSH International Diploma and CMIOSH or equivalent required.
- Board-level stakeholder management, GCC regulatory knowledge, crisis leadership, and a record of driving zero-harm cultures.
