Job Purpose
Lead the company’s business development activities, identify new market opportunities, secure profitable projects, and strengthen relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s business development strategy.
- Identify new projects, clients, markets, and partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with government entities, developers, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Lead prequalification, tender opportunity assessment, and proposal activities.
- Coordinate with estimation, commercial, operations, and technical teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming projects.
- Negotiate commercial terms, partnerships, and joint venture opportunities.
- Manage the business development pipeline and report progress to senior management.
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and networking forums.
- The role requires a construction background combined with business development experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong business development experience within the construction, infrastructure, or contracting sector.
- Established network within the UAE and GCC market.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proven ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into awarded projects.
