The position supports competency-gap closure and conformance with ISO 9001:2015 competence requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain role-based training and competency frameworks, matrices, and assurance requirements.
- Conduct training needs analysis and maintain the annual training plan.
- Verify qualifications, certifications, and competency records against contractual, regulatory, and QMS requirements.
- Coordinate technical training providers, schedules, delivery, and performance evaluation.
- Maintain accurate, traceable training and competency records in QMIS.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and report gaps, closure actions, completion status, KPIs, and trends.
- Support competence-related audits and close associated findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, human resources, or a related field.
- Certified training or assessment qualification such as CIPD, ATD, or TAP.
- Experience in technical training, competency assurance, or learning and development within construction or infrastructure programmes.
- Experience developing competency frameworks, conducting training needs analysis, and administering records on large-scale programmes.
- Training needs analysis, competency assessment, reporting, data analysis, time management, and schedule management skills.
- Familiarity with QMS best practices and competence requirements.
Preferred qualification
- ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification is preferred.

- The role is associated with an on-site airport programme; Mace states that flexible and hybrid options may be discussed if suitable for the role.
