Project Overview
The role supports a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project delivered through a hands-on construction management approach.
The development includes power, telecommunications, district cooling, water and wastewater systems, and associated treatment and distribution facilities.
The role oversees construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of major electrical utility and infrastructure packages.
Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical infrastructure and utility package delivery from mobilisation through handover.
- Manage contractors and subcontractors undertaking utility, power, and infrastructure works.
- Monitor progress against programme and drive recovery plans where required.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, quality requirements, regulatory approvals, and industry standards.
- Coordinate utility providers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and operational readiness.
- Drive health, safety, and environmental performance across work fronts.
- Review construction methodologies, temporary works proposals, and installation sequencing.
- Support risk mitigation and resolution of site-related issues.
- Present progress updates to senior project leadership.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering.
- Extensive construction and infrastructure delivery experience.
- Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage power infrastructure.
- Experience with wet and dry utility networks, sewage treatment plants, and district cooling plants and distribution networks.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, quality, and commissioning standards.
- Relevant experience on high-value projects or programmes for a project management consultancy business.
