Job Objectives

  • Oversee the follow up and implementation of strategic and priority projects.

Leadership Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Affairs: Develop a complete project management methodology (including procedures, policies, roles, and KPIs).
  • Plan strategic priority projects and oversee their execution based on approved project plans.
  • Develop project action plans and coordinate with stakeholders to prepare project launch documents.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify project risks and develop risk management plans.
  • Oversee project milestones and ensure adherence to approved timeline.
  • Review project change requests to ensure compliance with timeline and budget.
  • Ensure solutions for project obstacles are provided.
  • Ensure project documentation through to closure.
  • Submit periodic reports to the department manager on project progress.
  • Financial Affairs: Oversee preparation of strategic project budgets in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Ensure strategic and priority projects are executed within approved budget and optimal cost efficiency.
  • Development: Prepare training needs plan for subordinates and submit to department manager for approval.

Operational Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective communication with internal and external clients regarding project management.
  • Ensure facilitation of communication channels among all internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with the authority's project management methodology.
  • Prepare a periodically updated monitoring system for strategic and priority projects including key data and completion stages.
  • Oversee project milestones and ensure adherence to approved timeline.
  • Develop operational KPIs and balanced scorecard for strategic and priority projects.
  • Monitor implementation of all projects based on project management methodology.
  • Monitor and improve project performance.
  • Measure the impact and contribution of projects to the authority's strategy.
  • Ensure all project closure and delivery requirements are completed within timeline and budget.
  • Ensure archiving of all closed project documents.
  • Comply with information security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • At least 7 years of experience in project management.
