About nesto

  • Canada's leading mortgage technology company, managing CAD 73B+ in residential and commercial mortgages with 1,000+ team members across 12 offices nationwide.
  • nesto combines technology, data, and a people first approach to reimagine the Canadian mortgage experience.

About the Role

  • We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead 0 to 1 product development on one of nesto's most strategic bets.
  • You'll own the vision, roadmap, and execution for a new financial product, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the Product Vision – Define and execute end to end product strategy for a new product, from concept through launch and scale.
  • Lead 0 to 1 Development – Navigate full arc of new product development: deep customer and market discovery, scoping, prioritization, iterative building, and go to market readiness.
  • Cross Functional Leadership – Work closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Risk, Compliance, and GTM to ensure alignment.
  • Commercial Acumen – Partner with GTM and leadership to translate new capabilities into positioning, sales enablement, and customer facing narratives.
  • Define Success – Establish metrics for product health, adoption, and impact; use data to drive iteration.
  • Stakeholder Influence – Communicate clearly and persuasively with stakeholders at all levels.

Who We're Looking For – The Profile

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years at a Senior PM level at a high growth technology company.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning and successfully launching complex new products, ideally in fintech, financial services, or data intensive domains.
  • Experience building products that handle sensitive data with rigorous security, compliance, and access control requirements.
  • Strong technical acumen – ability to engage deeply with engineering on system design, data pipelines, and architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and align stakeholders across functions and levels.
  • Proven ability to operate with clarity and conviction in ambiguous, fast moving environments.
  • Sharp product sense and a high bar for quality.

Preferred but Not a Must

  • Mortgage or regulated financial services experience.
  • Familiarity with lending technology, origination platforms, or financial data infrastructure.
  • Exposure to platform or API driven product development in an enterprise SaaS context.
  • Experience with go to market motions for complex financial products.

The Reward

  • Work alongside high performing talent in product, tech, and the mortgage industry.
  • Accelerated growth – touch more strategic decisions in one year than in five years elsewhere.
  • Premium benefits plan fully paid by nesto, including comprehensive insurance and unlimited access to telemedicine and mental health services.
  • 4 weeks of vacation.
  • Best in class tools including AI tools.
  • Working framework that enables productivity and teamwork.

Interview Process

  • Recruiter Screen – 30 minutes
  • Discovery Call with Director of Product – 30 minutes
  • Take home Assignment + Presentation & Q&A – 60 minutes
  • Final Stakeholder Interview – 45 minutes
  • Background Check and Reference Checks + Offer
