Senior Product Manager - Crypto

Role Overview

Product Ownership and Delivery

• Own execution of the crypto product roadmap, including spot trading, wallets, and future staking or derivatives capabilities.
• Translate strategic initiatives into product requirements, user stories, and delivery plans.
• Drive delivery from discovery and planning through execution and launch.
• Ensure operational and security readiness before go-live.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Align Product, Engineering, QA, Project Management, Business, Operations, Compliance, and Customer Support teams.
• Work with Blockchain Engineers, Backend teams, and Security functions.
• Coordinate functional, integration, and security validation with QA teams.

Discovery and Requirements

• Lead crypto market research, competitor benchmarking, and user behavior analysis.
• Define user journeys across trading, deposits and withdrawals, custody, and staking.
• Clarify order lifecycle, liquidity sourcing, pricing, and execution flows.
• Support feasibility analysis across technology, liquidity, regulatory, and operational dimensions.

Infrastructure and Integration

• Support integration with liquidity providers, exchanges, custody providers, and wallet infrastructure.
• Define custody models, transaction flows, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure implementation of on-chain and off-chain transaction handling.
• Contribute to scalable architecture for multi-asset and crypto convergence within the SuperApp.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance

• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Legal on VARA, MiCA, and offshore-jurisdiction requirements.
• Ensure implementation of AML, transaction monitoring, and wallet security controls.
• Support governance documentation, risk assessments, audit readiness, delivery updates, and risk escalation.

Continuous Improvement

• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for enhancement and innovation.
• Improve execution efficiency, system reliability, and security posture.
• Track crypto market trends, DeFi innovation, and regulatory developments.
• Contribute to Equiti's digital asset product framework and best practices.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong execution mindset for complex, fast-paced delivery cycles.
• Strong understanding of digital asset ecosystems, blockchain fundamentals, and trading mechanics.
• Ability to translate business requirements into structured product specifications.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• High attention to detail around security and transaction flows.

Experience Requirements

• 3–6 years of product management experience in crypto platforms, fintech, or trading environments.
• Proven delivery experience with spot trading, wallets, custody, or staking products.
• Strong understanding of crypto trading lifecycle, order execution, liquidity, and settlement.
• Experience with cross-functional delivery involving Engineering and QA.
• Experience with exchange integrations, liquidity aggregation, or market-making setups.
• Experience in multi-jurisdiction regulatory environments.
• Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven product development is listed as a qualification.
• Familiarity with Fireblocks, BitGo, or other custody and wallet infrastructure is listed as a qualification.
• Exposure to derivatives, staking, or DeFi products is listed as a qualification.
• Arabic language skills are a plus.
