Role Overview
Equiti’s Finance department is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Associate for its Dubai office.
The role supports core accounting, reporting, reconciliation, payment, audit, and compliance activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and payments.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Process expense reports and vendor payments.
- Maintain documentation of financial transactions.
- Assist with audits and compliance requirements.
- Provide general support to the finance team.
Skills and Competencies
- Attention to detail is required.
- Professional Excel skills are required.
- Strong analytical skills are required.
- A professional, inquisitive, and ambitious approach is expected.
- Challenge data and its integrity.
- Knowledge of SAP is required.
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Experience with management and financial reporting.
- Comfort navigating profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Audit experience is desirable and does not need to be from a Big Four firm.
- Financial services experience.
