Equiti is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial & Financial Analyst for its Data department.
The role is described as fully remote, while the posting also references an office position.
The analyst will support commercial and financial reporting, performance analysis, and executive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Own recurring reporting for sales targets versus delivery, revenue, cost, and margin using certified semantic models.
- Support automated Finance end-of-quarter processing by validating outputs and replacing manual files.
- Analyze performance across products, regions, and client segments and quantify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate sales targets and incentive logic into certified metrics with Sales management.
- Partner with Finance on cost allocation, margin methodology, and Group reporting definitions.
- Build Power BI reports and analyses for executive, regional, and sales-management audiences.
- Use AI-assisted tools for analysis and draft commentary while retaining accountability for final insights.
- Document metric definitions and assumptions and answer ad hoc commercial and financial questions from leadership.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong commercial and financial acumen covering P&L structure, revenue drivers, unit economics, and margin analysis.
- Analytical rigor with large datasets and complex business logic.
- Clear written and verbal communication for senior audiences.
- Strong stakeholder skills across Sales, Finance, and executive teams.
- High attention to detail and ownership of numerical accuracy.
- Effective and critical use of AI assistants for analysis and drafting.
Experience Requirements
- At least 4 years of commercial experience in BI development or analytics with substantial hands-on Power BI delivery.
- Experience with Tabular models and advanced DAX in production reports.
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and tuning Power BI models and reports.
- SSIS or modern pipeline tooling such as Azure Data Factory or Fabric pipelines is a plus.
- Experience migrating or consolidating legacy reporting estates is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI deployment pipelines, or streaming datasets is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or compensating experience.
