- Design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Tamara’s engineering teams
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
- Work with engineers across the company to build features spanning various parts of the system
- Collaborate with business, product, and operations teams to understand and solve user pain points
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Strong experience building scalable products and services
- Good understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns
- Knowledge of AWS, OCI, Kubernetes/Docker
- Experience with distributed systems and messaging tools (Kafka or RabbitMQ)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum
- Proactive, goal oriented, and self structured
- Good written and spoken English

Your role
- Seeking Backend Engineers to lead building cutting edge platforms for seamless and scalable transactions.
- Responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing secure and robust software infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, analysts, product experts, and other team members.
Your responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Tamara’s engineering teams.

- Work with engineers across the company to build delightful features.
- Collaborate with business, product, and operations teams to understand and solve user pain points.
Your expertise
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience building scalable products and services.
- Good understanding of SOLID principles, Design Patterns.
- Knowledge of AWS, OCI, Kubernetes/Docker.
- Experience with distributed systems and messaging tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum.
- Knowledge of Javascript, Vue.js, HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Proactive, goal oriented, and self structured.
- Experience as a developer in a startup is a plus.
- Team player, creative thinker, passionate about new technologies.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
