Responsibilities
- Own end to end design across the Merchant Portal product area, from problem framing to shipped experience
- Work across web and mobile, handling multi state flows, edge cases, and operational complexity
- Design for a diverse merchant audience, balancing simplicity with depth for power users
- Pay attention to UI clarity, hierarchy, and visual polish
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and Design peers
- Use data, merchant feedback, and experiments to evaluate and iterate on solutions
- Support design QA and ensure implemented UI matches intended behavior
- Contribute to shared patterns and raise suggestions to Design System owners when needed
Requirements
- Strong product design experience (typically 5+ years) and comfortable owning complex features end to end
- Experience working on B2B or business tools
- Deep care for usability for non technical users
- Solid UX judgment combined with good UI craft
- Comfortable working across mobile and web within the same product area
- Confident navigating ambiguity and making decisions when requirements are still forming
- Ability to explain design decisions clearly and collaborate calmly with cross functional partners

Role Overview
- Snoonu is looking for a Senior Product Designer to own and evolve the Merchant Portal for the Food vertical.
- This is a B2B product with real operational weight; merchants use it daily to manage orders, content, and performance.
- The challenge is building tools that work for a wide range of users, from tech savvy operators to owners with limited time.
- Work across web and mobile surfaces, designing experiences that are clear, reliable, and genuinely useful.

- Order management — helping merchants handle the full order lifecycle clearly and efficiently.
- Content and catalog management — menus, products, pricing, availability.
- Mobile experience — restaurant owners and managers on the go.
- Merchant growth tools — performance visibility, promotions, and business insights.
- Onboarding and activation — helping new merchants get set up and find value quickly.
- Expansion — adapting the platform as Snoonu grows into new markets.
- Improving clarity and usability across the product for a non technical merchant audience.

- Strong product design experience (typically 5+ years) and comfortable owning complex features end to end.
- Experience working on B2B or business tools and understanding designing for people who use a product as part of their job.
- Deep care for usability for non technical users — ability to strip away complexity without losing functionality.
- Solid UX judgment combined with good UI craft — structure, hierarchy, and polish matter.
- Comfortable working across mobile and web within the same product area.
- Confident navigating ambiguity and making decisions when requirements are still forming.
- Ability to explain design decisions clearly and collaborate calmly with cross functional partners.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with merchant platforms, marketplace tools, or B2B SaaS products.
- Experience with order management, inventory, or operational workflows.
- Familiarity with designing for markets where digital literacy varies widely.
