Overview

In this role, you will develop and deliver tangible consumer benefits through EGA's products or services.

To measure, monitor, and present product-related insights, consumer, market, and competitive intelligence, to drive consumer intelligence through internal and external data sources, enhancing EGA's understanding of the product's market, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop strategies that result in tangible benefits for consumers through business products or services.
  • Effectively measure and monitor product or service performance, providing valuable insights to support informed decision-making.
  • Design and propose overall product strategies, fostering innovation and presenting marketplace outcome projections.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing movements, providing recommendations for key decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance efficiency in effecting price changes according to market shifts.
  • Drive consumer intelligence through the development of external and internal data sources.
  • Develop or adopt research tools, sources, and methods to support and contribute to product marketing management intelligence.
  • Drive compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and ethical standards to guarantee that the organization operates within the bounds of the law, safeguarding its reputation and fostering a culture of integrity.
  • Formulate strategies for packaging and marketing products to make them differentiated, compelling, and easy to sell.
  • Identify and manage the ongoing rationalization of the business's product offerings, to make sure that the product portfolio aligns seamlessly with business objectives, promoting efficiency and maximizing value.
  • Support product teams with quantitative data for informed decision-making and product direction.
  • Create and monitor metrics to evaluate product direction and user satisfaction.
  • Undertake exploratory data analysis, importing, cleaning, and analyzing data to gain valuable insights.
  • Conduct financial modeling on products, services, and target markets to understand relations between the product and the target market.
  • Produce reports and recommendations for informed decision-making on new and existing products.
  • Supervise third-party compliance, making sure of a thorough understanding of business processes and policies. Oversee adherence to standards and fostering familiarity with established procedures, to contribute to a robust and ethical business environment.
  • Analyze market data to develop effective marketing strategies and enhance product reception in the market.
  • Collect data via customer polls and market research to make recommendations about products, marketing plans, and launch strategies.

Authority And Decision Making

Key decisions having significant impact on the department are referred to the reporting manager for approval before implementation.

Job holder exercises financial authority as per the level established by the company board and stipulated in the authority matrix.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology from a reputable university. (Master’s Degree preferred)

Minimum Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role
