About The Role
We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join our team and support day-to-day procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the procurement team in sourcing, requesting, and securing materials for plant maintenance and fleet.
- Draft, review, and issue LPOs (Local Purchase Orders) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Manage and assign drivers for material pick-ups and site deliveries.
- Maintain proper documentation of purchases, supplier records, and quotations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
- Liaise between the operations, site teams, and suppliers to support smooth project execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the construction, Readymix,Engineering.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Must be fluent in English and either Malayalam ,Urdu , Hindi.
- Knowledge of procurement software, MS Office, and standard LPO formats is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage but not mandatory.
