Lead procurement, contracts, general administration, logistics, inventory, and construction-related project activities.
Manage major projects and establish policies and procedures for central stores, procurement, and general administration.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing and prospective contracts and ensure overall compliance.
- Reduce operating costs through innovative contract and procurement techniques.
- Implement strategies for procurement, contracts, administration, logistics, and inventory.
- Maintain contract and procurement documentation for tracking.
- Manage inventory availability and turnover through cost-effective processes.
- Create departmental KPIs for monitoring and corrective action.
- Assist with purchasing and materials strategy development.
- Supervise construction-related projects in liaison with technical end users.
- Liaise with auditors regarding inquiries and findings.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree, postgraduate diploma, or postgraduate degree is required.
- Professional certification in supply chain, contract management, procurement, purchasing, or materials management is required.
Required Skills
- 15–17 years of experience, including at least 6 years of senior managerial experience.
- Experience with contract management, project management, or contracted services management.
- A financial background is required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in procurement and contracts, property or facilities management, project management, furniture procurement, purchasing, and vendor practices is desirable.
