- Lead training initiatives for internal stakeholders about product offerings
- Perform competitive benchmarking of products and review pricing periodically
- Lead development of consumer product strategies and value propositions
- Oversee delivery of large programs for clients from initiation to benefit realization
- Identify new business opportunities to support clients with Mastercard solutions
Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience in Cards Product and Portfolio Management
- Experience in delivery of large, complex projects/programs in a cross functional, multicultural environment
- Domain knowledge of payments industry and hands on program management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification; advanced degree or MBA preferred
- Fluent local office language and English required; Arabic desirable
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Willingness to travel

Overview
- As a Senior Managing Consultant, Specialized Product Delivery (Product / Portfolio Specialist) you will be responsible for driving profit and growth for cards, encompassing revenue, credit costs (including Fraud), and direct/allocated costs.
- You will design and successfully execute card product and portfolio management strategies through action plans covering card metrics such as new acquisition, activation, ENR, spend, retention, profitability.
- Direct exposure to senior client executives and internal product leaders.

Key Responsibilities
- Product Roll out: Lead commercialization and launch of new products and solutions, recommending pricing, providing sales tools, and training the sales team.

- Strategic Guidance and Support: Develop and execute strategies aimed at generating revenue through products.
- Marketing and Campaign Execution: Oversee development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive product growth.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer: Lead training initiatives for internal stakeholders about product offerings.
- Competitive Benchmarking and Pricing: Perform competitive benchmarking of products and review pricing periodically.
- Product Innovation and Development: Lead development of consumer product strategies and value propositions.
- Internal Collaboration: Work with cross product client teams to maximize cross selling opportunities.

- Domain knowledge of payments industry and hands on program management experience.
- Able to plan and manage a multi workstream program from inception to delivery.

- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Able to handle multiple priorities, work independently, think laterally.

All About Your Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Fluent local office language and English required, other languages desirable (Arabic).
- Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships.
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required, knowledge of Project Management tools preferred.
- Relevant experience of 15 years+ in Cards Product and Portfolio Management.
- Regional experience preferred (i.e. GCC).
- Structured approach to project management.
- Analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel.
