Role Summary

  • The Senior Manager Media leads the development and execution of integrated media strategies and plans across a portfolio of clients, ensuring alignment with client objectives and agency KPIs.
  • The role oversees end to end media planning quality, manages client relationships and cross functional collaboration, provides leadership and mentorship to the planning team, and drives business growth through strategic media solutions and new business opportunities.

Technical & Product

  • Ability to understand client requirements, ask the right questions, and develop strategic media plans and recommendations aligned with client objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market, campaign, and research data to generate actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, digital media, emerging technologies, and all media channels (offline and online).
  • Expert level knowledge of media planning, buying, and digital advertising platforms, including Z/X Plan, Statex, GWI, Euromonitor, WARC, Similarweb, DV360, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Snapchat Ads Manager, X (Twitter) Ads Manager, and TikTok Ads Manager.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify ROI opportunities for clients and the agency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 with strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within an integrated team environment and a sound understanding of the Group's products and services.
  • Ability to conduct campaign analysis, reporting, and optimization, and develop effective media strategies from client briefs.

  • Deep understanding of the advertising and media industry, with strong knowledge of media planning across offline and online channels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, clients, stakeholders, and competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of media ROI, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to manage internal teams, external partners, and vendor relationships while ensuring seamless collaboration across Buying, Finance, and other departments.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to understand client objectives and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
  • Strong knowledge of market, consumer, and media research, with the ability to develop channel specific media strategies, plans, and reports.
  • Commitment to maintaining quality standards, mentoring team members, and supporting additional business needs when required.

Qualifications

  • 8 10 years of experience in media planning or related role.
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead a team of planning managers.
  • Strong organizational skills, team player, ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Digital Certifications across the major platforms, including Meta (FB & IG), Google, Snap Chat, Twitter & TikTok, in addition to familiarity in industry developments & initiatives I.e.: commerce, Metaverse, NFTs, etc...
  • Experience in business development.
