About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Distributor & Commercial Support: Handle legal matters regarding Saudi distributors and review commercial agreements to protect company interests.
• Corporate Operations: Participate in the day-to-day legal activities and operational management of BYD’s Saudi subsidiaries.
• Labor Relations & Compliance: Manage employment contracts and ensure full compliance with KSA Labor Law through the Qiwa and Mudad platforms.
• Compliance & Data Privacy: Coordinate with external law firms on regulatory matters, specifically focusing on the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and other compliance frameworks.
• Regulatory Research: Monitor local legislative updates and provide clear interpretations of new policies and their impact on the business.

Requirements And Competences

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a prestigious Saudi university.
• Experience: 2+ years of legal experience in a corporate in-house role or a law firm. Candidates with strong potential and a quick learning curve are encouraged to apply. Experience in the Automotive or High-Tech sectors is highly prefered.
• Languages: Professional proficiency in English and Arabic (Must be able to draft/review documents and communicate with authorities in both languages).
• Technical Skills: Practical knowledge of Saudi government portals (Qiwa, Mudad, etc.) and basic KSA corporate/labor regulations.
• Mobility: Saudi National or willing to relocate to and be stationed in Saudi Arabia.
