Key Responsibilities
- Lead IoT platform architecture across cloud (Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core) and / or industrial (Siemens MindSphere, GE Predix) ecosystems.
- Govern edge-device fleet management, provisioning, and OTA updates.
- Own IoT security architecture device identity, certificates, network segmentation, secure boot.
- Architect and operate data ingestion pipelines from IoT edge to enterprise data platforms.
- Integrate IoT data with BI / analytics platforms and enterprise applications.
- Govern connectivity strategy Lthe clientN (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT), 4G/5G, fibre.
- Lead IoT vendor management devices, gateways, platform licensing.
- Drive integration with operational technology (OT) systems where applicable (SCADA, BMS).
- Author IoT runbooks, incident response procedures, and operational SOPs.
- Mentor junior IoT engineers and provide thought leadership in the client's smart-infrastructure roadmap.
