About the Role

Responsibilities
- Execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines for Distributed Control Systems / Safety Systems / Substation Automation Systems
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations
- Perform complex field service tasks, identifying and resolving high level technical problems
- Plan and prepare site work for larger project team and manage related subcontractors at site
- Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities
- Identify improvement needs and potential solutions for way of working and products
- Take actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB
Requirements
- Hands on and extensive field services experience in Automation industry is a must have
- Highly skilled in ABB 800xA with AC800M/Symphony Plus (S+) systems
- Experience working with ICSS and/or PMS/SCMS automation systems in Oil & Gas and Power & Water market
- Over 5 years of experience in the automation field, working in ICSS and/or PMS/SCMS systems with ABB control systems
- Proficient in industrial communication protocols like IEC 61850, Modbus, Profibus, OPC, IEC 101, IEC 104
- Enhanced knowledge of ABB 800xA with AC 800M/Symphony Plus, and industrial networking and cybersecurity solutions for control systems
- Degree in Engineering with demonstrated expertise in automation systems and process applications across Oil & Gas and Power & Water industries
- Good communication skills and passion for customer collaboration

Your Role and Responsibilities
- In this role, you will execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines for Distributed Control Systems / Safety Systems / Substation Automation Systems with expertise in 800xA with AC 800M, ABB Infi90/S+ and/or other ABB Control Systems.
- You will deliver excellent customer service and identify opportunities in the installed base to improve system performance.
- The work model for the role is: Onsite.
Main Accountabilities
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.
- Perform complex field service tasks, identifying and resolving high level technical problems through remote or on site activity.
- Plan and prepare site work for larger project team and manage related subcontractors at site.
- Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities.
- Identify improvement needs and potential solutions for way of working and products.
- Take actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB.
Qualifications for the Role
- Hands on and extensive field services experience in Automation industry is a must have.
