About the Role

Responsibilities
- Execute service work of medium to high complexity per work instructions and ABB guidelines for DCS/Safety/Substation Automation systems
- Deliver excellent customer service and identify opportunities in the installed base to improve system performance
- Perform complex field service tasks, identify and resolve high level technical problems through remote or on site activity
- Plan and prepare site work for larger project team, manage subcontractors, coach technicians and engineers
- Identify improvement needs and drive improvement actions in own area of responsibility
- Identify new service business opportunities in cooperation with customer and other ABB teams
Requirements
- Hands on and extensive field services experience in Automation industry
- Highly skilled in ABB 800xA with AC800M/Symphony Plus (S+) systems
- Experience with ICSS and/or PMS/SCMS automation systems in Oil & Gas and Power & Water market
- Over 5 years of experience in the automation field with ABB control systems
- Proficient in industrial communication protocols like IEC 61850, Modbus, Profibus, OPC, IEC 101, IEC 104
- Enhanced knowledge of ABB 800xA with AC 800M/Symphony Plus, industrial networking, and cybersecurity
- Degree in Engineering with demonstrated expertise in automation systems and process applications
- Good communication skills in English

Your Role And Responsibilities
- Execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines for Distributed Control Systems / Safety Systems / Substation Automation Systems with expertise in 800xA with AC 800M, ABB Infi90/S+ and/or other ABB Control Systems.
- Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers.
- Work with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base to improve system performance and operational performance.
- The work model for the role is: Onsite.
Main Accountabilities
- Contributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.
- Performing complex field service tasks, identifying and resolving high level technical problems, and making analysis through remote or on site activity.
- Planning and preparing site work for larger project team and managing related subcontractors at site, coaching technicians and engineers.
- Identifying improvement needs and potential solutions for them in the way of working and the products in question.
- Taking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB.
Qualifications For The Role
- Hands on and extensive field services experience in Automation industry is a must have.
- Highly skilled in ABB 800xA with AC800M/Symphony Plus (S+) systems and experience with ICSS and/or PMS/SCMS automation systems in Oil & Gas and Power & Water market.
- Over 5 years of experience in the automation field with ABB control systems.
