Responsibilities
- Execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines
- Ensure customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation in safe manner
- Create and maintain a good relationship with customers and understand their needs
- Identify new sales opportunities and influence clients for the complete service portfolio
- Attend jobs with complete preparedness, following factory recommended procedures
- Maintain service tools and instruments of service engineers and ensure tools are calibrated
- Provide technical support to customers during emergencies and site visits as required
- Ensure good teamwork and networking within the team and across divisions
- Follow PCS certification requirements and attend HSE trainings
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations
- Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronic Engineering
- More than 6 years of hands on service experience on Variable frequency drives
- Strong electrical or electronics engineering fundamental knowledge
- Effective spoken and written communication in English and Arabic
- Basic computer application knowledge for job reporting and communication with MS Office and other common application software

Your Role And Responsibilities
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines.
- Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers.
- You will also showcase your expertise by working with customers to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.
- The work model for the role is: Onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Ensures customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation in safe manner.
- Creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs.
- Identifies new sales opportunities and takes influence in convincing the client for the complete service portfolio.
- Attend jobs with complete preparedness, with at most professional approach and to ensure completeness of the job, following the factory recommended procedures.
- Maintaining service tools and instruments of service engineers and Ensuring tools are calibrated
- Provide technical support to customers during emergencies and Site visits as and when required.
- Ensure good teamwork and networking within the team and across the divisions.
- Follow PCS certification requirements and complete on time and also attend HSE trainings both internal and external before it expires.
Qualifications for the role
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- More than 6 years of hands on service experience on Variable frequency drives.
- Strong electrical or electronics engineering fundamental knowledge. Knowledge on theory, structure, and application, testing ABB VFD experience, product certifications and fault diagnosis/analysis will have added advantages.
- Effective spoken and written communication in English and Arabic
- Basic computer application knowledge for job reporting and communication with MS Office and other common application software
