About the Role

- Execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines
- Ensure customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation in a safe manner
- Identify new sales opportunities and influence clients for the complete service portfolio
- Attend jobs with complete preparedness and follow factory recommended procedures
- Maintain service tools and instruments, ensuring tools are calibrated
- Provide technical support to customers during emergencies and site visits
- Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering
- More than 6 years of hands on service experience on Variable Frequency Drives
- Strong electrical or electronics engineering fundamental knowledge
- Effective spoken and written communication in English and Arabic
- Basic computer application knowledge with MS Office

Role Overview

- Work model: Onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation in safe manner.
- Create and maintain good relationship with customers and understand their needs.
- Identify new sales opportunities and influence clients for complete service portfolio.
- Attend jobs with complete preparedness and follow factory recommended procedures.
- Maintain service tools and instruments, ensuring tools are calibrated.
- Provide technical support to customers during emergencies and site visits.
- Ensure good teamwork and networking within the team and across divisions.
- Follow PCS certification requirements and attend HSE trainings.
- Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities.
Qualifications for the role
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
- More than 6 years of hands on service experience on Variable Frequency Drives.
- Strong electrical or electronics engineering fundamental knowledge.
- Knowledge on theory, structure, application, testing ABB VFD experience, product certifications and fault diagnosis/analysis.
- Effective spoken and written communication in English and Arabic.
- Basic computer application knowledge for job reporting with MS Office.
