About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead preparation of detailed cost estimates for all construction disciplines
- Review IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to develop accurate cost breakdowns
- Conduct quantity take offs, rate analysis, and cost benchmarking for major work packages
- Work closely with Planning, Procurement, Commercial, and Engineering teams to validate cost assumptions
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations, analyze variances, and prepare comparison sheets
- Support tender submissions, value engineering proposals, and cost saving initiatives
- Maintain updated cost databases, market rates, and supplier benchmarks relevant to UAE mega projects
- Participate in site meetings, technical workshops, and coordination sessions with consultants and contractors
- Provide commercial insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and project financial planning
- Ensure compliance with project standards, contractual requirements, and internal governance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- 10 15 years of experience in estimation within large scale construction projects
- Proven experience on mega projects, malls, mixed use developments, or high rise complexes in UAE/GCC
- Strong command of estimation software (CostX, Candy, Excel based BOQ systems)
- Excellent understanding of local market rates, subcontractor pricing, and procurement dynamics
- Ability to work site based and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills

About the Role
- Dubai Square Mall is a landmark development; seeking a Senior Estimator to join the site based project team in Dubai.
- Role critical for accurate cost forecasting, competitive pricing, and commercial control across all construction packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preparation of detailed cost estimates for all construction disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, MEP, finishes, specialist packages).
- Review IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to develop accurate cost breakdowns.
- Conduct quantity take offs, rate analysis, and cost benchmarking for major work packages.
- Work closely with Planning, Procurement, Commercial, and Engineering teams to validate cost assumptions.
