Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project schedules for MEP works using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools
- Prepare baseline programs in alignment with overall project timelines
- Monitor progress and update schedules regularly, highlighting delays and risks
- Conduct critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare recovery plans and revised schedules when required
- Coordinate with MEP engineering, procurement, and construction teams
- Align MEP schedules with civil and architectural activities
- Support project management in decision making using planning data
- Liaise with subcontractors to track performance and progress
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports including earned value analysis
- Provide delay analysis, extension of time (EOT) claims, and mitigation strategies
- Present planning updates to stakeholders and senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or relevant discipline
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in MEP planning within UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi
- Proven experience with large scale construction projects
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and specifications
