Responsibilities
- Administer main contracts, subcontracts, supplier agreements, and consultant contracts
- Prepare, review, and issue contractual notices, correspondences, and formal letters
- Maintain comprehensive contract documentation, logs, registers, and compliance records
- Support dispute resolution, contractual negotiations, and settlement of commercial matters
- Develop detailed cost plans, budgets, and cash flow projections
- Conduct monthly cost reporting, cost to complete analysis, and commercial performance reviews
- Evaluate and certify subcontractor interim payments, variations, and final accounts
- Lead value engineering initiatives and cost optimization strategies
- Prepare comprehensive contractual claims including EOT, cost claims, disruption claims, and prolongation claims
- Identify commercial and contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 12 years experience in contract administration and quantity surveying within construction or fit out projects
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC, UAE contract laws, and industry standards
- Proven experience in managing claims, variations, and final accounts
- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office (Excel, Power BI preferred)
- Strong analytical and numerical capability
- Excellent drafting skills for contractual letters, claims, and commercial correspondence
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

Role Overview
- The Contract Administrator / Senior Quantity Surveyor oversees all contractual, commercial, and cost‑management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer main contracts, subcontracts, supplier agreements, and consultant contracts in accordance with project requirements and company policies.
- Prepare, review, and issue contractual notices, correspondences, and formal letters to clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Maintain comprehensive contract documentation, logs, registers, and compliance records.
- Ensure adherence to contractual terms, conditions, deliverables, and timelines.
- Support dispute resolution, contractual negotiations, and settlement of commercial matters.
- Draft and issue formal letters to clients regarding contractual matters, progress updates, variations, claims, and commercial clarifications.
- Prepare structured responses to client queries, instructions, and notices.
- Ensure all communication is aligned with contractual obligations, FIDIC requirements, and project strategy.
- Attend client and consultant meetings to present commercial updates and defend company positions.
- Develop detailed cost plans, budgets, and cash‑flow projections.
- Conduct monthly cost reporting, cost‑to‑complete analysis, and commercial performance reviews.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8–12 years experience in contract administration and quantity surveying within construction or fit‑out projects.
