Job Purpose
Provide program-level electrical engineering expertise and technical governance for a major land and infrastructure development program in Riyadh.
Review and monitor electrical designs to ensure integration and compliance with approved standards, utility requirements, regulations, and operational needs.
Support program delivery under the direction of the Technical Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Review electrical reports, calculations, load studies, specifications, drawings, power demand analyses, and technical submissions.
- Evaluate electrical solutions for safety, reliability, resilience, operability, maintainability, energy efficiency, sustainability, and lifecycle performance.
- Review power distribution systems, medium- and low-voltage networks, substations, utility corridors, street lighting, and associated infrastructure.
- Assess load forecasts, network capacities, utility interfaces, and power supply strategies.
- Coordinate electrical integration with transportation, telecommunications, utilities, facilities, and other infrastructure systems.
- Coordinate with utility providers and regulatory authorities on approvals and technical compliance.
- Review engineering deviations, design modifications, technical compliance, and value engineering proposals.
- Prepare technical assessments, review comments, executive summaries, and recommendations for management and the client.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Chartered Professional membership or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in electrical infrastructure, power distribution, utility networks, urban development, infrastructure delivery, or major capital projects.
- Experience in PMCM, PMC, consultancy, developer, contractor, utility, or client-side organizations is preferred.
- Experience on major infrastructure or land development programs in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
