About the Role
Modon is seeking a Senior Digital & Technology Officer to manage IT infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, and end-user support in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage systems, and enterprise software
- Manage and optimize network setups including LAN, WAN, VLANs, VPN connections, and firewalls
- Provide senior level technical support and act as escalation point for complex issues
- Monitor IT infrastructure for performance, availability, and security using advanced monitoring tools
- Design and implement cybersecurity protocols including data security, encryption, firewalls, and user access policies
- Develop and manage data backup and disaster recovery systems
- Lead IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met
- Maintain technical documentation including network diagrams, system configurations, and change logs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, technical support, or related roles
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Systems Administrator, or equivalent
- Preferred: CISSP, ITIL Certification, or AWS/Azure Cloud Architect certifications
- Experience working in an asset management environment is preferred

Key Responsibilities
- IT Infrastructure and Network Management: Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize network setups including LAN, WAN, VLANs, VPN connections, and firewalls.
- Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex network and infrastructure issues.
- Implement redundancy measures and system optimizations for maximum uptime.
- IT Support and End User Assistance: Provide senior level technical support to employees.
- Act as escalation point for IT Officers for complex issues.
- Customize IT solutions to meet departmental needs.
- Deliver user training and guidance.
- System Monitoring and Cybersecurity Management: Continuously monitor IT infrastructure.
- Manage deployment and configuration of security tools such as IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners.
- Design and implement cybersecurity protocols.
- Act as first responder for security breaches.
Qualification
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related technical field.
- Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Systems Administrator, or equivalent.
- Preferred: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ITIL Certification, or AWS/Azure Cloud Architect certifications.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, technical support, or related roles.
- Experience working in an asset management environment is preferred.
