Role Overview

Design and Project Leadership

• Oversee architectural design to align with client requirements, project specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
• Review and approve design documentation for regulatory, building code, and industry-standard compliance.
• Set objectives for Project Architects and maintain acceptable efficiency levels.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the design team.

Coordination and Delivery

• Prepare and present regular reports and status updates on design progress, challenges, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate architecture, interiors, engineering systems, and BIM into integrated project solutions.
• Manage in-house design teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Monitor design budgets, resources, and timelines and resolve project delivery challenges.
• Develop strategies for continuous improvement in design processes, quality control, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design management across various project types.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in healthcare projects.
• Experience as a lead planner and project manager on medium to large-scale projects.
• Extensive healthcare-sector project management experience.
• PMP certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, building codes, and regulations in healthcare sectors.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and resource allocation experience.
• Proficiency in design and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and 3ds Max.
• Understanding of integrating architecture, interiors, mechanical, electrical, and BIM disciplines.
