We are looking for an experienced Cost Control Manager with 7–10 years of experience in the UAE construction industry. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in project cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and finalize project execution budgets promptly following tender handover. Monitor and maintain budget compliance by cross-checking project costs against Material Requisitions (MRs), productivity reports, and the purchasing system. Assist in forecasting project costs
- Cost Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare and monitor weekly manpower productivity reports. Prepare and issue monthly project cost reports. Analyze cost variances and highlight potential cost overruns to management. Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.
- Daily Cost Control: Verify Purchase Orders (POs) and Material Requisitions (MRs) against site records and approved requirements. Validate manpower and equipment requisitions through the ERP system prior to deployment. Ensure that all project-related costs are properly recorded, monitored, and contro
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- UAE construction industry experience is required/preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction project cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to identify cost variances and implement effective cost-control measures.
