Role Overview
PFC Group is seeking a Document Controller with two years of UAE construction experience.
The role manages project documentation in compliance with industry and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage technical and non-technical construction project documents.
- Maintain hard-copy and digital document tracking, archiving, and retrieval systems.
- Distribute current drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals to relevant teams.
- Coordinate documentation updates with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare logs, trackers, and reports for management and audits.
- Support project teams with administrative and documentation-related tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of Document Controller experience in the UAE construction industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems such as Aconex, Procore, or SharePoint.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, time management, and pressure-handling skills.
- Understanding of construction drawings, submittals, RFIs, ISO standards, and QA/QC documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic is an advantage.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Diploma qualification is preferred.
