Role Overview
PFC Group is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant with construction accounting experience and knowledge of UAE tax laws.
The role manages financial operations, compliance, and financial insights across multiple companies or entities.
Accounting Responsibilities
- Handle full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, and monthly and yearly closings.
- Prepare and review financial reports, project cost reports, and budget forecasts.
- Monitor construction project costs, contracts, billing schedules, and cash flow.
- Maintain intercompany transactions and consolidations across multiple entities.
Tax and Stakeholder Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate VAT and Corporate Tax submissions under UAE regulations.
- Work closely with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for business growth and profitability.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a small accounting team while maintaining high performance and accuracy standards.
- Streamline processes and support effective team performance.
Experience Requirements
- Have two to six years of accounting experience.
- Have at least two years of construction accounting experience.
Education and Technical Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Maintain current knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Have experience working with multiple companies or entities.
- Be proficient with Zoho, Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar cloud-based accounting platforms.
- CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification is a plus.

- Demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Be proactive, adaptable, and capable of learning quickly.
Work Location
- The role is performed in person.
