Role Overview
PFC Group is seeking a Safety Officer to join its construction team.
The role supports health, safety, and environmental standards across construction sites and compliance with company safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce HSE compliance across construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Educational certificate must be attested by the UAE Embassy.
- Minimum five years of experience in the construction industry.
- Basic knowledge of construction HSE regulations and procedures.
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification is preferred.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site safety inspections.
- Ensure proper implementation of PPE and safety procedures.
- Assist in toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
- Report unsafe acts and hazardous conditions.
- Maintain HSE reports and documentation.
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Construction experience of five years is listed as preferred in the structured experience field.
