Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal guidance on corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and governance matters relevant to the firm's operations in Saudi Arabia and internationally
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate agreements and contracts ensuring alignment with local and international legal requirements
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams and clients to assess legal risks and develop practical solutions
- Stay abreast of changes in Saudi Arabian corporate law and regulatory developments affecting the firm's sector practice areas
- Support business development initiatives by providing legal insights and assisting in client engagements and pitches
- Manage and mentor junior legal staff, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing within the team
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities as needed to manage complex legal issues and disputes
Requirements
- Licensed lawyer with a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree and admission to practice in the US or an accredited jurisdiction
- Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing corporate law, ideally within an international law firm environment
- In depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian corporate law, commercial law, and international business regulations
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex corporate transactions and provide strategic legal advice
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills, with fluency in English
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and teamwork
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards, with a proactive and solution oriented mindset
- Arabic language proficiency is an advantage
