The Role
- We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Barrister to join our prestigious law firm in Dubai.
- The successful candidate will provide expert legal counsel, represent clients in complex cases, and contribute to the firm's continued success in the UAE legal market.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and representation in high profile and complex cases within the UAE jurisdiction.
- Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, pleadings, and court submissions with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advise clients on a wide range of legal matters, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Represent clients in courts, tribunals, and alternative dispute resolution forums with confidence and professionalism.
- Collaborate closely with junior lawyers and legal teams to strategize case approaches and share legal knowledge.
- Keep abreast of developments in UAE and international law to provide informed and up to date counsel.
- Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to enhancing the firm’s reputation and client base.
Requirements
- Qualified barrister with extensive experience in UAE law and litigation, preferably with a focus on commercial or corporate law.
- Proven track record of handling complex legal cases and delivering successful outcomes.
- Exceptional advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic language skills are a distinct advantage.
- Committed to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards in legal practice.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with legal trends and changes.
