Role Overview
- The team is looking for a Senior Conference Producer on a maternity cover contract, with an opportunity to be considered for a similar full time role after the completion of the cover.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in depth research with industry leaders to shape relevant content streams and build a compelling conference agenda.
- Own the agenda development for one of the conference stages and event activations, curating high impact content and engaging session formats.
- Manage 100+ high profile international and local speakers, ensuring seamless coordination pre event and onsite.
- Maintain an up to date speaker database, ensuring accuracy in speaker lists and event files.
- Contribute to regular reporting to government partners, post event reports and feedback analysis for continuous improvement.
- Engage with government stakeholders and key partners to pitch and secure high level speaking opportunities, run client status meetings and ensure a smooth experience pre event and onsite.
- Enhance event visibility by identifying and collaborating with local programming partners for content co curation and onsite activations.
- Support the conference team in preparing stakeholder reports and presentation materials.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Logistics, and Senior Management to align on event objectives, audience acquisition and speaker positioning.
- Implement systems and processes to streamline coordination and decision making across event teams.
