  • We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Chef de Partie in Pastry to lead a section of our pastry kitchen and contribute to our signature dessert offering through creativity, precision, and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high quality pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods in line with established recipes and standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations within the pastry section to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Support the Pastry Chef in menu development, seasonal creations, and recipe refinement.
  • Monitor food quality, consistency, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Train, mentor, and guide junior pastry chefs, commis chefs, and kitchen assistants.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Manage inventory, stock rotation, and ingredient requisitions to minimize waste.
  • Conduct quality checks on raw ingredients and finished products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pastry kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure seamless service and timely production.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs proactively.
  • Assist in controlling food costs through effective planning and waste management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior CDP in pastry.
  • Strong expertise in pastry techniques, desserts, and baked goods.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
