Responsibilities
- Prepare and mix ingredients for artisan breads, including sourdough and rye
- Bake bread and other bakery products in line with company standards
- Follow recipes and production schedules with precision and consistency
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and ensure product quality at all stages
- Support with simple decoration of baked goods when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food safe working environment
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment properly
- Monitor stock levels and report ingredient shortages
- Ensure all products meet L'ETO's quality and presentation standards
Requirements
- Previous baking experience preferred, ideally with artisan bread (2 yrs minimum)
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and handle bakery supplies
