Chef de Partie – Leto Restaurant ABU DHABI
Role Purpose
To lead a designated kitchen section and ensure the preparation and presentation of high-quality Mediterranean dishes in line with L’ETO Restaurant's fine dining standards.
The role requires maintaining consistency, supervising junior team members, and supporting overall kitchen performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a specific kitchen section during preparation and service
- Prepare, cook, and present Mediterranean dishes to L’ETO’s fine dining standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes
- Supervise and guide Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs within the section
- Monitor mise en place and ensure timely service execution
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety (HACCP), and cleanliness
- Control portioning, reduce waste, and support cost management initiatives
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation (FIFO)
- Support training and development of junior kitchen staff
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant, with at least 2 years as CDP or strong Demi Chef ready to step up
- Strong expertise in Mediterranean cuisine
- Good leadership and team supervision skills
- Knowledge of modern cooking techniques and refined plating styles
- Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen best practices
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
