Responsibilities
- Lead and manage an assigned kitchen section during preparation and service
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation
- Execute high volume breakfast and à la carte breakfast operations efficiently
- Train, supervise, and support CDPs, Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs
- Ensure all mise en place is prepared and organized before service
- Monitor stock levels, control waste, and follow FIFO procedures
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times
- Conduct quality checks and ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
- Support junior chefs' development through coaching and on the job training
Requirements
- Minimum 2 4 years of relevant experience in reputable restaurants or café concepts
- Previous leadership experience as a Senior CDP or CDP
- Strong experience in breakfast à la carte and high volume breakfast operations
- Valid PIC (Person in Charge) Certificate or equivalent food safety certification
- Ability to lead a section independently and train junior chefs
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations
- Able to perform under pressure while maintaining high quality standards
- Passionate, disciplined, and committed to long term career growth

Role Purpose
