- Creation of models and drawings in support of Design, Permitting and Construction
- Review of consultant/contractor 3D models and drawings per client CAD and BIM Standards
- Support management of drawing mark up process including maintaining revision history
- Coordinate project drawing requirements between design colleagues, project managers and external consultants
- Provide CAD drafting and Revit modeling services and technical support to project teams
- Produce model, drawings and documentation in accordance with established design standards for civil works
- Ensure drawings are fully coordinated among all disciplines and stakeholder requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience post qualification, ideally 13 years
- At least 5 years within a BIM environment
- Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit Multidiscipline suites
- Experience in production of CSA/MEP drawings
- Experience in drawing office data registers and repositories
- Familiar with developing designs in project models using appropriate families, systems
- Experience in validation of as built information against Client Requirements
- Sound knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering drawings, graphic arts
- Expertise in reading, interpreting and using related documents and drawings
- Knowledge of application of engineering and construction materials
- Experience in design and drafting, including demonstrated expertise in a lead role
- Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required

Project Overview
- The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations, processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure.
- The Project is situated approximately 200 km north east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh.
Job Summary
- Plan, develop, and review control systems design work, produce drawings and documentation, and prepare design estimates for a project.
- Coordinate with clients, facilitate technical discussions, and review and approve drawings, calculations, and bid summaries.
- Solve complex technical issues and ensure control systems designs comply with all regulations and standards.
Major Responsibilities
- Creation of models and drawings in support of Design, Permitting and Construction that are completed in accordance with timelines, quality, and cost objectives.
- Review of consultant/contractor 3D models and drawings per client CAD and BIM Standards.
- Support the management of the drawing mark up process including maintaining all previous mark up and revision history.
- Be proactive in coordinating project drawing requirements between design colleagues, project managers and external consultants.
- Provide CAD drafting and Revit modeling services and technical support to the project teams as required.
- Produces model, drawings (including drafting) and documentation in accordance with established design standards for civil works, i.e. earthwork, road and drainage structures, MEP and Architectural works.
- Ensure the drawings produced are fully coordinated among all the disciplines and the stakeholder requirements.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience (ideally 13 years’ experience) post qualification including at least 5 within a BIM environment.
- Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit Multidiscipline suites.
- Experience in production of CSA/MEP drawings.
- Experience in drawing office data registers and repositories.
- Familiar with developing designs in project models using appropriate families, systems, etc for all the disciplines.
- Have experience in the validation of as built information against Client Requirements.
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Sound knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering drawings, graphic arts, reading of drawings, and reproduction methods used by the discipline.
- Expertise in reading, interpreting and using related documents and drawings prepared by other project groups.
- Knowledge of the application of engineering and construction materials related to design responsibilities.
- Experience in design and drafting, including demonstrated expertise in a lead role or recognized courses in the directing of personnel.
- Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
