- Provide strategic planning support and change management services by leading feasibility studies and workload efficiency analyses
- Provide support for application maintenance, modification and enhancement through programming, database development, report writing and problem solving
- Provide guidance and leadership to assigned team members
- Analyse system performance and provide recommendations for capacity plans
- Prepare Requests for Information/Proposal, develop evaluation processes and tools, and evaluate vendor responses
- Coordinate and implement applications by ensuring documentation, writing and testing
- Develop user documentation and downtime and disaster recovery procedures
- Lead and participate in the analysis, development, testing, training, implementation and maintenance phases of projects
Requirements
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelors degree in Business, Health Informatics, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum of five to seven (5 7) years’ recent related experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of the historic and ongoing impacts of settler colonialism on Indigenous Peoples
- Demonstrated understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle and project management methodology

Senior Business Analyst
- Reporting to the Manager or Designate, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing leadership in Business Process Reengineering and leads the analysis and documentation of business requirements on projects.
- The SBA creates confidential business cases, briefing notes, and reports.
What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic planning support and change management services by leading feasibility studies, workload efficiency analyses.
- Provide support for application maintenance, modification and enhancement through programming, database development, report writing and problem solving.
- Provide guidance and leadership to assigned team members.
- Analyse system performance and provide recommendations for capacity plans.
- Conduct analysis related to data conversion routines and system interfaces.
- Prepare Requests for Information/Proposal, develop evaluation processes and tools, and evaluate vendor responses.
- Coordinate and implement applications by ensuring documentation, writing and testing.
- Provide system support to users during development, maintenance and operation.
- Develop user documentation and downtime and disaster recovery procedures.
- Perform analysis of PHSA information system requirements and vendor analysis/selection.
- Provide technical and business direction and guidance to other project staff.
- Coordinate and manage the development and execution of project plans, prepare and monitor project budgets.
Qualifications
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelors degree in Business, Health Informatics, Computer Science or a related discipline plus a minimum of five to seven (5 7) years’ recent related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the historic and ongoing impacts of settler colonialism on Indigenous Peoples.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle and project management methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to lead staff in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze operational problems and recommend innovative solutions.
- Proven ability to plan and execute complex projects with stringent budgets and timelines.

Salary Range
- $76,111 $109,409 /year.
