Role Overview

  • The Senior Associate – Business Excellence is a pivotal role mandated to establish and anchor a true Center of Excellence (CoE) for Modon Communities.
  • This position drives sourcing, adapting, and institutionalizing global best practices, robust operational policies, and standardized processes across the enterprise.
  • Ensures continuous improvement and operational superiority are permanently built into the organization's daily routines.

Center of Excellence & Global Best Practices

  • Establish the CoE as the foundational leader of Business Excellence, setting enterprise standard for operational maturity and organizational agility.
  • Actively source, adapt, and deploy global best practices; drive organizational adherence to international quality and excellence frameworks (e.g., EFQM, ISO 9001/14001/45001).
  • Draft, refine, and enforce robust operational policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), creating a centralized, accessible repository.
  • Institute a rigorous, recurring audit cadence to monitor compliance with newly established policies.
  • Define and monitor leading and lagging process health metrics, linking localized operational performance to strategic objectives.

Target Operating Model & Process Architecture

  • Lead end to end analysis, structural redesign, and deployment of future state Target Operating Models (TOM) across the enterprise.
  • Architect and map complex cross functional workflows using Tier 1 architecture tools (e.g., ARIS, Visio, Compelion).
  • Conduct macro level Value Stream Mapping to identify major bottlenecks, redundancies, and non value added activities.
  • Partner closely with IT and Data Analytics teams to identify, document, and standardize repetitive manual processes for digitization or RPA.
  • Eliminate fragmented, localized workarounds by enforcing standardized process architectures across corporate support services and frontline asset management.

Lean Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement

  • Systematically apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify, quantify, and eradicate the '8 Wastes' from daily operations.
  • Rapidly deploy to the frontline to lead 0–8 week Kaizen sprint events, delivering rapid 'Quick Wins'.
  • Guide cross functional teams through structured A3 thinking to dismantle persistent roadblocks (2–12 month resolution).
  • Act as lead facilitator for transformative, data intensive DMAIC initiatives using statistical process control.
  • Leverage business intelligence and process mining concepts to uncover hidden inefficiencies.

Silo Elimination, CX & Operational Harmonization

  • Act as operational 'connective tissue' to dismantle departmental silos and create unified organizational workflow.
  • Design and govern frictionless handoffs by establishing strict internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Map and optimize end to end resident and customer journeys to translate process optimizations into higher service quality.
  • Ensure harmonized processes maximize enterprise resource utilization and reduce operational running costs.
  • Extend operational excellence standards to external contractors, FM providers, and suppliers.

Cultural Transformation & Capability Building

  • Act as a relentless change agent to embed continuous improvement as an organizational behavior.
  • Design, build, and deliver internal training modules and certification programs (e.g., Yellow Belt, Green Belt).
  • Apply structured change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR) to guide teams through process transitions.
  • Establish and manage a centralized 'Idea Funnel' to capture and recognize employee efficiency suggestions.
  • Provide hands on coaching to departmental leaders and process owners to sustain optimized workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Quality Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Master's degree (MBA, MSc in Project Management, or Engineering Management) is a strong differentiator.
  • Active Lean Six Sigma Black/Green Belt certification is strictly required (Black Belt highly preferred).
  • Certifications or formal training in EFQM, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), or Business Process Management (BPM/BPMN 2.0).
  • Formal certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) is a strong differentiator.
